North Delhi Mayor Mr. Ravinder Gupta today inspected areas of Roshanara Bagh, Pratab Bagh, Sangam Park and Model Town-2. During the inspection, area councilors Mr. Arvind Garg, Ms. Renu Gupta, Mr. Madhav Prasad and Mr. Surender Gupta; Deputy Commissioner of Civil Lines Zone Mr. R C Dhankad; Additional Commissioner (Engineering) Mr. Sanjay Goel; Engineer-in-Chief Mr. K P Singh; Director-in-Chief (DEMS) Mr. Devender Kumar and other senior officials were also present.
In Roshanara Bagh, the Mayor directed the officials concerned to remove malba, garbage and unclaimed cars from a road in the area around Roshanara Bagh. He said that sewer line near the toilet be repaired. He further directed that damaged roads at Rana Pratap Bagh be repaired.
While inspecting Lal Bagh in Sangam Park, Mr. Ravinder Gupta asked the officials to get the stormwater drains cleaned and covered as open drains pose a risk to the health of people. Besides, he said that garbage be removed from roads and dhalao.
Mayor also inspected municipal parking at Model Town-2. He directed that the area be made completely garbage free.
