Mayor inspected Sahipur village, Shalamar village and Haidarpur village

North Delhi Mayor Mr. Ravinder Gupta today inspected Sahipur village, Shalamar village and Haiderpur village in Rohini Zone. Councillors Ms. Rekha Gupta and Mr. Mamta Nagpal; Commissioner Mr. Praveen Gupta; Additional Commissioner Mr. Deepak Hastir; Deputy Commissioner of Rohini Zone Mr. Jagdeep Chhiller were also present during the  inspection. On finding poor state of cleanliness in Sahipur village, he directed the officials concerned to improve the sanitation of the area. He also directed to repair service lane of the area. He said that stormwater drains be connected to the drain of main road so that the residents get rid off unhygienic condition.
In Shalamar village, the Mayor directed to improve the maintenance of the community toilet. Mr. Gupta said that a special sanitation drive be launched for the village.  He further directed that street lights be ensured for Indra Park and appreciated the officials for proper maintenance of the park. He directed that dhalao be developed in the area.While inspecting Haiderpur village, he said that cleanliness ensures good public health. He asked the officials to not show any laxity. During the inspection, ‘Nigam Prasashan Janta Ke Dwar’ was organized at Raghunath Vatika of B H Block at Shalimar Bagh wherein local residents put forth their complaints to the Mayor regarding various issues such as cleanliness, parks etc. The Mayor assured them that their grievances would be addressed timely.
